Tall Ships Nova Scotia Festival 2009 Halifax Waterfront Downtown Halifax Ships from around the world will join many of Canada's finest sailing vessels to form the international gathering of world-class Tall Ships in Halifax from July 16 to 20, 2009.
Organizers are expecting 50-70 vessels making it the largest gathering of tall ships in North America in a decade.
The Tall Ships Atlantic Challenge 2009 is a spectacular race around the North Atlantic Ocean of more than 7,000 nautical miles. Ships will leave Halifax in a grand Parade of Sail on Monday, July 20 to begin the final leg of the race to Belfast, Northern Ireland.
